Breast Lift

Due to such factors as aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, gravity, and genetics, women’s breasts change over the time. Breast lifting can improve the whole shape of the body by giving it a more youthful appearance. Over the past decades, the popularity of breast lift has grown significantly and now outnumbers the breast implants. A breast is lifted to a more forward position by removing the excess skin and tightening the breast tissue.

Surgery. Breast lift is usually done with local or general anesthesia and takes from 1 to 2 hours, depending on the patient’s anatomical individuality. After surgery, breasts are bandaged or put into a special surgical bra. Patients are allowed to go home on the same day and continue recovering at home. Usually, most patients will go back to work in one week after the surgery, although exercising should be limited for next 2 to 6 weeks.
