Body Contouring

Fat extraction is a surgery of fat tissue removal. Fat can be taken from one part of the body and transfered into another part - so fat transfer process reminds of making a sculpture, which cannot be mistaken with weight loss. During the fat extraction, maximum amount of 6 liters of fat is removed. For the overweight patient it’s not a huge amount, but by removing it from one part of the body and transfering to another, it can change the appearance significantly. This is the most natural way to improve body shape. Fat tissue adjusts to the new area and it looks very natural without obvious signs of correction.

Surgery. A 3-4 mm incision is made in the body to insert a cannula, through which the fat is extracted. GP clinic uses Lipomatic machine, which siginificantly improves liposuction procedure. Cannula slides through fat tissue very smoothly and doesn’t damage it. Vibrating movements deter fat tissue from the surrounding tissues. The removed fat is not damaged and can be transfered easily. That also helps to transfer bigger amounts of fat, and that is very important for the transfers to places like breasts and buttocks. Depending on the extent of the procedure, the patient is allowed to go home the same day or might be asked to stay for one night. Patients have to wear a special corset. Normally it’s allowed to start working after 1 week, and if it’s a physical job – after 1 month.
